The neighborhood hipsters have taken over the basketball hoop we installed in the parking lot. Basketball to the hipsters involves taking turns shooting the ball, smoking cigarettes and intermittent dancing. Please note if you would like to join this game there is a dress code: you must be wearing either skinny jeans & or a wool hat with either old vans or converse. Please note it is 80 degrees outside. Please bring PBR to keep yourself hydrated.

Former Oddball Customer, Bjorn Nelson, is an architect at Root Design Build- a local company that is building one of a handful of houses that will pass the strict "green" requirements of the German Passivhaus technology. These buildings are so energy efficient- it is said that the whole house can be heated with a blow dryer! Imagine heating your house for a whole year for only 194 TOTAL. Keep an eye out- this house should be finished in September. Check out the whole article in the willamette week- here!
