Oddball Shoe of the Week: New Balance Minimus 20v3 Cross Trainer

Light enough to sit on top of an unused coffee filter.
  • Weigh in at less than 1/2 lbs (0.23kg) each.
Minimalist construction, but sturdy support.
  • Straight out of the box, these shoes are comfortable, produce no hot spots and feel very neutral and flat.
  • Flexible in the toes but stable in the heel and midfoot, great for CrossFit and weight-lifting
Ideal combination of light and durable.
  • The Beta Support across the forefoot prevents lateral blowouts (as many running shoes are not made to support lateral movement), all while causing no discomfort on the outside of the foot.
If you're on the lookout for a minimalist cross-trainer, look no further than the New Balance 20v3 Cross-Training shoe. FYI: It is recommended to transition gradually into minimalist shoes, especially as a large-footed man.

Now at Oddball in sizes 14, 15, 15W, & 16 for 110. Shop online at www.oddball.com or call us at 1-800-884-4046.

Oddball Shoe of the Week: Mizuno Wave

Three different styles make their Oddball
debut this week. Designed to be supportive, lightweight, and resilient, Mizuno is one of the most highly consumer-rated running shoe brands. Built to support pronation or over pronation, Mizuno employs technology like U4ic, a midsole compound 30% lighter than its predecessor, and breathable seamless uppers.

Seeing as how Oddball hasn't carried these shoes before, we had to give them a test run before they were available for our customers and we have to say, we're impressed.
#1 they maintained their cushioning and support. #2 they never felt heavy or clunky, even in big sizes. #3 the style looked great with all workout clothes, we fielded tons of questions about them at the gym.

So, if you're in need of great training/running shoes - check out Mizuno's Wave series.

Oddball Winter Classic Rod Hockey 2014

Sasquatch defeated our "IT guy" by a score of 3-2 in the 1st Annual Oddball Winter Classic. It was a snowy and windy evening when these two opponents faced off. After several rounds of beers, the game began with Sasquatch going up 1-0. "IT guy" came back with a nice slap shot from the back line for the equalizer. After "IT guy" nailed a nice pass in from the left wing to take the lead 2-1 - he celebrated with a cheapshot snowball. Fortunately, he served his penalty time, felt shame, and Squatch evened out the score 2 all on a back-hand top-corner shot. After the beery intermission, with the natural sunlight fading and the snow falling harder than ever, Sasquatch nailed in the winning goal from his center position with a nifty off-the-glass rebound shot. Thus ended the First Annual Oddball Winter Classic and Sasquatch cemented his name in the history books and Oddball lore.

Sasquatch wanted to make sure we pointed out his Oddball Bigfoot beanie and Oddball Royale Marshall Stripe socks for keeping him warm and focused. Oddball really is the only place that he can find socks, hats, insoles, and shoes that fit! If you want to play like 'Squatch or have issues finding things that fit - check out Oddball.com and you'll be highly impressed.

Bigfoot recommended, Bigfoot approved.
