We are so stoked to finally be carrying the ultra cool sneaker brand SUPRA. Check out the first style they are offering called VAIDER." Every detail on these sneakers are slick, from the patterned perforated side panels, the logo on the tongue, patterned sole etc... Now I just have to decide which color I want. White or Black? hmmm Maybe both.

DISGRUNTLED ODDBALL CUSTOMERS SENDS US AN EMAIL.
August 03, 2010
Here at Oddball we get a ton of emails from customers on a variety of subjects, some good and some bad. Every once in awhile we receive a truly expectational email that needs to be shared. I think we have a winner with this one. Kevin sent this in over the weekend and asked us to share this with other like minded large footed individual. What do you think?
Hi,
My name is Kevin and I wear a men's size 16 D. I've found it impossible to ever completely be happy with any pair of shoes I've ever owned. Due to having size 15 or 16, I've always had to settle for second or third (or fifth or seventh) choice.
I'm tired of this.
When I called Keen to ask them why their truly awesome (looking) Briggs II stopped at 15, they said that it cost money to build a 'last' and that they needed 2500 orders to justify the creation of a new size.
How can I ever find a pair of shoes I ever really like? I know their are millions of people who can relate to my experience. How do we organize and have any influence over the evil shoe companies that are determined to spite us?
You guys at Oddball carried a great pair four years ago with Adidas Kumaci XCR. I've ordered a few pairs of various shoes from you guys over the years, with varying degrees of happiness. Right now I'm riding out a year-old pair of Mizuno speed trainers that are discontinued. (The replacement is hideous.)
Today I received an Adidas Superstar II in the mail that felt like I was wearing a piece of cardboard. I'll be mailing it back, and crossing the Superstar II off of my list of possibilities.
I'm pissed off because I can't find anything to wear and I'm sick of feeling like a second-class citizen.
I (and pretty much all my friends) are members of the "Urban Creative Class". We don't want bright white, all-black, or brown shoes. (which are all the choices that I have in size 16.)
This urban creative class lives in cities, where subways and white shoes don't mix. We're always wearing athletic shoes where we shouldn't, in places like board meetings and pitches, and to work at our jobs designing video games or doing make-up. That's why trail-runners and grey shoes are so great - they can sort of fit in anywhere in this world of being cool once you're out of school.
I don't want to look like a basketball player, or like I'm fifteen. (I'm thirty-seven and I want an athletic shoe for a thirty-seven year old, dammit.)
I want a running shoe for an architect. a cross-trainer for a film producer. I want a trail-runner for an artist.
I want to see multiple shades of grey, cross-trainerish, trail-runner-ish urban camoflauged stylish, supportive shoes that you can wear through a long day of band recording, or filming, or painting, or structure-building or whatever.
Any like-minded souls are welcome to contact me. Maybe some sort of blog could be started, with votes for shoes that are universally desired (maybe potentially lobbying to the shoe companies to produce?)
Basically I want Adidas, and Keen, and Puma, and New Balance, Mizuno, and everyone else to Make Larger Sizes.
With warm wishes, an open heart, and crappy shoes (at the moment),
I remain ever disgruntled (at this point),
Kevin P.

RIP MANUTE BOL
June 22, 2010
We here at Oddball are big basketball fans and as fans we lost a true game changer this past week. There might have been bigger or better players, but not many can match the heart of this true gentle giant. How can you forget the awesome lineups the Golden State Warriors use to run out on the court of Richmond, Hardway, Mullin(Run TMC), Larry Smith and Bol launching the 3's. We hope you all enjoy this little Video of some Manute's highlights and that it brings a smile to your face as watching Manute always brought us one. RIP MANUTE you will be missed.
World Cup Countdown
June 08, 2010

It is World Cup time! For those of us on the West Coast- it means getting up BEFORE work to watch global rivalries, drinking coffee instead of beer (well some of us) and actually getting to see some of the world's awesomest football players duel it out.
Friday's first match (6 am PST): Mexico vs South Africa.
Tennis Anyone?
June 08, 2010
The Rod Laver is one of the most classic, clean & cool sneakers around. Throw on a fresh pair on your big feet to add instant style to any outfit. We love these new Rod Lavers in two crisp summery colors White/Royal shown) & White/Aluminum. Available in large sizes 14-18. Hmmm which one to pick...
